In the midst of the global COVID-19 pandemic, a prominent entertainment venue wanted to explore the idea of delivering virtual events. The ask was to deliver a compelling name, brand, and aesthetic that would encourage people to join these unique events - both virtually and eventually in-person. I worked with key stakeholders to develop a distinctive concept that balanced futuristic elements with nostalgic appeal.

To accommodate a diverse range of virtual events, from football games and boxing matches to top-tier music performances, I developed a series of custom graphic devices and patterns symbolizing sound and amplification. These elements created a distinctive brand aesthetic that complemented each event and added a special energy. The dynamic energy of these patterns, combined with clever wordplay and bold imagery, resulted in a truly unique and engaging virtual event experience.

To support the venue's shift to virtual experiences, I crafted a highly tactical design strategy. I developed a series of patterns emulating sound and motion to capture the dynamic energy of the events. A subdued primary palette evoked nostalgia, while bold typography and patterns injected unexpected vibrancy. Additionally, I created punchy, engaging copy that blurred the lines between sports, music, and other events, ensuring a cohesive and captivating brand identity for these unique virtual venues.
